Ingredients

cups granulated sugar
1/3
cup canola oil

teaspoons vanilla

oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1
cup fat-free egg product
2
cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

teaspoon baking powder
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
cup powdered sugar

Directions

  • 1 In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, oil, vanilla and chocolate with spoon. Stir in egg product. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
  • 2 Heat oven to 350°F.Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar; roll around to coat. Shape into balls. On cookie sheet, place balls about 2 inches apart.
  • 3 Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack; cool.

I made these with 1 cup of eggs whites (instead of egg product) and they turned out great! They taste like fudgy brownie cookies...so delicious! Everyone loved them! I will definitely make these again.

These turned out pretty good. I did use 4 eggs instead of egg product, but otherwise followed the recipe. I will make these again. I did not get 72 cookies, only 60 so maybe I made them a little bigger than they were supposed to be.
