Ingredients

Yogurt Sauce

cup Yoplait® Fat Free plain yogurt (from 2-lb container)
1/4
cup chopped red onion
1/4
cup chopped cucumber

Burgers

1
lb lean ground turkey
1/2
cup Yoplait® Fat Free plain yogurt (from 2-lb container)

teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon pepper
4
whole wheat burger buns

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, mix sauce ingredients; refrigerate until serving time.
  • 2 Set oven control to broil. In medium bowl, mix all burger ingredients except buns. Shape mixture into 4 patties, each about 1/2 inch thick and 5 inches in diameter. Place on rack in broiler pan.
  • 3 Broil burgers with tops about 6 inches from heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F. Place burgers on buns. Serve with sauce.

These came out so good! The burgers were flavorful and they remained very juicy. I personally added a little salt to the yogurt-onion-cucumber topping. It does not take a special technique or much prep time. I plan on making this recipe again.

These were great..even the kids who are used to ground beef gobbled them up! I will make these again but next time I will put them in a whole wheat pita to cut down on the carbs.
