Ingredients

cup whole-grain blue or yellow cornmeal

cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/4
cup sugar

cup buttermilk

tablespoons canola oil

teaspoon baking soda

teaspoon salt

egg

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, stir all ingredients with spoon just until ingredients are blended. Divide batter among muffin cups (about 3/4 full).
  • 3 Bake 18 to 21 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm.
