Ingredients

slice bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2
lb beef sirloin (1/2-inch pieces)

small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
Dash pepper

can (8 oz) no-salt-added tomato sauce

cup home-style beef gravy (from 12-oz jar)

tablespoon chili sauce

unpeeled small red potatoes, diced (1 cup)
1
medium carrot, sliced (1/2 cup)
1/2
cup frozen whole kernel corn (from 1-lb bag)

Directions

  • 1 In 2-quart nonstick saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until cooked but not crisp.
  • 2 Stir beef and onion into bacon. Sprinkle with pepper. Cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef begins to brown and onion is tender.
  • 3 Stir in tomato sauce, gravy and chili sauce. Heat to boiling. Add potatoes and carrot. Cover; cook over medium-low heat 50 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is tender.
  • 4 Stir in corn. Cook uncovered 10 to 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally, until corn is tender.
